I help a swimwear company to maintain its product catalogue, in Polish and English.

Proofreading

I proofread, edit, and format research articles, project proposals, and other technical documents.

Who I am.  I see myself as working at the intersection of science and the arts. I'm fascinated by science and love using new tech, being surrounded with computers, microphones, cameras and cables. But I also love books, art, and music. I began studying language and culture at university. But my PhD was on the sociology of literature---a  'science of literary works'. Since then, I've been working at a technical university, teaching technical, scientific, and business English, especially writing and presentation skills. I've developed skills in desktop publishing, curriculum design, writing performance-based objectives, and much more. I'm also an experienced proofreader and technical writer. 

What I offer. I help subject-matter experts communicate their ideas, discoveries, and inventions more effectively to various audiences, so they can concentrate on their science and enjoy better work-life balance. 

What's next? I am always seeking to widen my professional network and build mutually beneficial partnerships. I am open to taking on new projects on a freelance or volunteer basis that could benefit from my skills in  instructor-led training, eLearning development, curriculum development, technical writing and proofreading.
